Why most "AI consultants" miss the mark

Most developers who offer AI services understand the technology but have never run a business, managed a team, or felt the pain of doing the same manual task for the hundredth time. They build what's technically impressive — not what actually solves the problem.

I come at this from the opposite direction.

I spent over a decade in operations, sales, healthcare recruiting, and business development. I've hired people, managed pipelines, run numbers at the end of the month, and dealt with every flavor of administrative overhead that slows small businesses down. I know what it feels like to need a solution and not have time to find one.

That background is why I'm different. When you tell me you're spending 3 hours a week manually copying invoice data into a spreadsheet, I don't just hear "automation task" — I hear the downstream effects on cash flow visibility, billing cycles, and team morale. I know what I'm actually solving before I start building.

The AI pivot

I trained at 4 Geeks Academy, where I built predictive models, NLP classifiers, and data pipelines in Python. After completing the program, I stayed on as a mentor — helping other students bridge the gap between technical skills and real-world application.

Then Claude Code changed everything. Anthropic's AI coding tool — paired with my background building and running operations — meant I could go from idea to working automation in hours instead of weeks. I've now built production systems for a South Florida general contractor (blueprint estimating, job cost tracking) and deployed a fully local AI server that runs with zero cloud cost.

I built AI BOT CODER to bring that capability to small businesses that need it most — the ones too busy running the business to figure out the tools themselves.
